Terms and Conditions

    1. The Great Travel Fares website (herein referred to as the “website”), owned and operated by Red Label Vacations Inc. (dba). At this website, as per the following terms & conditions, the words “customer”, “you”, “cardholder” and “passenger” refer to every person receiving or purchasing travel services from Great Travel Fares.
    2. A section titled “Customer’s Responsibility” has been described below, which we strongly recommend you to read carefully, for making sure that your trip is completed smoothly, under all conditions.
    3. Making payment-

a) Online bookings need to be paid in full in order to complete the purchase.

b) Online purchases can be made using MasterCard, Visa or American Express credit cards. In certain cases, if specified, it may not be possible to use American Express credit cards.

c) Online purchases made on reattravelfares.com are 100% non-refundable.

d) Foreign and third-party credit cards will not be accepted on greatravelfares.com.

e) Any kind of suspected fraudulent purchase will be subjected to investigation and prosecution, with or without prior information to you.

f) By providing the website authorization for using your credit card to pay for your travel services, you hereby confirm that you agree for the whole amount to be charged as per the cardholder agreement. You also agree to not chargeback the amount used to provide given travel services.

g) The billing address given to dba must be the same as the one verified by your credit card company. In case we are not able to verify this address, your booking stands to get cancelled without prior notice.

h) The final amount that you see for an Authorized Transaction may be marginally different from what you paid, as some merchants make it necessary to enforce a temporary hold on additional funds. In fact, this practice is commonly followed by merchants at places such as restaurants, gas stations, and certain hotels. You will be able to see the correct amount only when the transaction shows up as a “Posted Transaction”.

i) At times you may face a delay from the time a transaction is settled and removed from “Authorized Transactions”, and when it is eventually displayed in “Posted Transactions”. A few transactions can appear as both Posted and Authorized until complete settlement.

j) Accommodations and ticket prices will be reserved/ confirmed only upon full payment of the once the file is paid for in full. However, you must be aware that available space can be limited and prices may be subject to changes as per the pending reservations.

k) As a Canadian website, Great Travel Fare deals with a number of international vendors. Therefore, prices mentioned on greatravelfares.com are in Canadian Dollars unless stated otherwise, and are represented as CDN or CAD.

l) Though booking prices in some airline bookings may show up in CAD, they may have to be paid as per the airline’s local currency. The exchange rate for your currency in Canadian Dollars will be as per the rate on the day you made your booking. However, the final rate charged to your credit card will be dependent on the exchange rate being followed by your credit card company. Foreign transaction fees charged by credit card companies cannot be controlled by Great Travel Fares.

    1. Acceptance of the points described under Terms & Conditions-

a) This website can be used by you as customer, based on your acceptance, but without modifications to conditions, notices mentioned here, and terms.

b) By making use of this website, you accept that you are in complete agreement of the Terms & Conditions described on this page for the website (GreatTravelFares.com).

c) You also agree to the terms described in the privacy policy of this website.

d) You are willing to accept the guidelines laid down by our travel operators, cruise lines, hotels and other travel service providers. All Terms and Conditions (also read Rules and Regulations) for the airline, tour operators and others who give the customer his or her selected product, are provided to the customer through a link to their respective websites.

    1. Refunds-

a) Refunds on any kind of unused travel services will not be entertained.

b) Modifications to your booking will be subject to terms and conditions stated by the airlines, cruise line, tour operator, hotel or car rental supplier according to their websites or brochures.

c) Cruise lines are required to make alterations in their itineraries, vessels or even skip ports for reasons such as weather, safety or others reasons. Events such as these are beyond the control of Great Travel Fares and are thereby not subject to refunds, or compensation.

    1. Changes in prices- Prices given on the Great Travel Fares website can change during the same session. Such a situation may occur due to an unavoidable delay between the third-party service provider and the latest airline, tour operator, or hotel website. By disconnecting from the site and returning later, there is no guarantee that prices will remain the same.
    2. Increase in prices- If there is an increase of more than 7% in service prices after completion of deposit (Quebec and Ontario residents), and this increase is not due to a fuel surcharge by the Canadian Transportation Agency or government taxes, you can cancel your booking with the website, subject to a condition that it must be done within 7 days of the increase notification.
    3. Errors in pricing- Great Travel Fares obtains its prices from several sources that are not under its control. However, it is quite rare for a supplier to quoting an incorrect price for a package, cruise, flight, etc. In case of a wrong price, the supplier or tour operator is authorized to cancel the booking, and we will not have control over such pricing errors.
    4. Inclusion of car rentals- If a car rental is part of your booking, you need to be aware that governments and car rental companies scrutinize the minimum age mentioned in your booking. In case the driver is underage as per a particular jurisdiction, the rental will be denied. Also make sure that you carry a valid credit card and a valid driver’s license to the car rental. Local taxes and fees may be applicable separately, and will not be covered by Great Travel Fares.
    5. Cruise packages- Items included in these packages are the return flight, inclusive of taxes and airport fees (from and to the nearest port or a nearby airport), meals, vacation activities, cabin reservation prices, and more. Beyond this, extra payments like onboard gratuities, drink purchases, excursion costs that are not related to the cruise package price will not be our responsibility.
    6. Special requests- In case you request for a different room, adjoining rooms, type of airline seating or hotel bed, and others, do note that such requests may not always be guaranteed. Additionally, Great Travel Fares cannot be held responsible for ungranted requests.
    7. Purchasing travel insurance- You are highly recommended to buy Travel Insurance in order to protect yourself before and during the trip. On your invoice, if you do not see an insurance policy number or charges for the insurance policy, it means that you have decided to DECLINE the insurance.For Cuban travelers, it is mandatory to purchase travel insurance. You will be asked to produce proof of the same upon your arrival in the country, or else you may be required to purchase it locally.
    8. Liabilities-

a) Great Travel Fares has tied up with travel services such as cruises, flights, car rental companies and package holidays. Services from these suppliers are subject to their individual terms and conditions. Their liabilities may be limited as per conditions of carriage, their tariffs, and various international conventions.

b) Great Travel Fares does not manage, operate or own any resort, cruise, hotel, restaurant or any other supplier, and cannot be held responsible for their omissions and other acts. Reservations, prices, connections, protection of personal belongings and scheduling are also not guaranteed by us.

c) We are not responsible for the actions of our suppliers. Prices, availability and information from them are subject to change.

d) Damages due to labour actions, theft, illnesses, acts of God, equipment failure, mechanical failure, quarantine, government action, war, insurgency, terrorist acts and other events are outside our control. We cannot be held responsible for the same.

e) Great Travel Fares is not responsible for any kind of actions by persons who are not our employees, or are pretending as us.

    1. Responsibilities of the customer-

a) Minimum age- It is your duty to confirm your legal age as customer and also have the authority to book travel services on behalf of yourself and others in the same booking. Some cruises keep the minimum age at 21 in a cabin, but without an adult of at least 25 (ages can vary as per terms). Even hotels may have a minimum age requirement, which you need to confirm prior to booking.

b) Minors who are not accompanied- In case of children who are travelling without an adult above the age of 18 years, it is you who needs to verify the rules and regulations of unaccompanied minors with the airline. Such regulations also vary from one airline to another. In case these are not met, children will not be allowed boarding and you will also have to forfeit charges already paid.

c) It is likely that flights booked may be code shared with other airlines. In such an event, rules of the operating carrier would be applicable. The customer is responsible for payment of any kind of additional fees charged by the airline(s).

d) Zero fraudulent activities- You should agree not to participate in any fraudulent reservation or speculative activity on our website. In case we see signs of afore mentioned, we are authorized to cancel all bookings associated with your email address or name. If speculative activities are detected and proved, Great Travel Fares will take legal action and you may be liable to pay legal damages to us. If you wish to contest against cancellation, please write to our customer service team.

e) Documents should be correct- If you do not possess the correct documents, you need to contact the embassy, government website of your destination(s) on the itinerary, or the consulate, and this includes the US. As per the country of passport issue, you may be restricted to visit certain countries, or obtain a visa well ahead of time. Check for the rule- many countries require your passports to be valid at least 6 months after return. Also ensure that you check the government website of the country of travel.

Though we have provided information about relevant customs and laws for travel documents for outside and back to Canada, your responsibility is to be ready for all health, legal and other documents to your travel destination(s). f) Returning to Canada- Make sure that you have the appropriate documents (permanent resident card, passport, visa, etc.) to enter into Canada upon return.

g) Spellings on documents- Please make sure that spellings on all your documents are correct and correspond to the names given in passports of persons for whom bookings have been made. The same spellings will populate on the tickets, and in case these are not verified, you may be refused travel by any means.

h) Baggage restrictions and flights- Contact your airline in case of charges for excess baggage or changes in number of baggage pieces, and also carry-on requirements specific to your flight, or you may be refused extra carriages. Ensure that you check your airline website for check-in times, prior to departure to your destination(s). Flight timings may change 12-24 hours before departure.

i) Requirements for special needs travelers- At Great Travel Fares, it is our duty to address all our client needs and make sure your holiday is equally accessible for you and the others with you. If anyone booked to travel with you has accessibility needs with regards to accommodation, please ring it to the attention of customer service at the time of booking or immediately after it.

j) Check the invoices and tickets- Review tickets, invoices raised for your travel arrangements thoroughly to ensure that times, dates, services and products are exactly what you asked for, and verify names as per passports. Once you have made payments to us, you acknowledge that all travel services are exactly as per plan and you accept our terms and conditions in full. In case a cruise line booking has been made, do fill out additional information as required by their company.

k) Cancelling your schedules- If for any reason you decide to cancel your bookings, it is mandatory for you to get in touch with Great Travel Fares. Any cancellations with regards to insurance, cruise liner, airline, or any other supplier will be subject to their respective cancellation policies, determined on the basis of how much in advance you cancel. Even in the case of a partial or complete refund, you are hereby notified, fees, taxes, and other related charges are non-refundable.
In the event of change in date, name, hotel, cruise, airline etc., cancellation penalties may be applicable, varying from one company to another. If there is a failure to travel as per booking because of any reason, it will result in 100% cancellation penalty for all participating suppliers. However, it is quite possible that some airline tickets cannot be changed or cancelled.

l) Check-in and check-out times of hotels- Please note that we will not be able to make special arrangements outside hotel policies of check-in and check-out. The check-out time is mostly 12 noon on the day of your return flight, regardless of flight departure time. Some flights may leave a few hours post-midnight as well. Late check-outs would usually be chargeable, as per policies of hotels.

m) Terms and Conditions provided by hotels-

  • Most hotel reservations made by the suppliers of Great Travel Fares are prepaid. The charge on your credit card will be made only upon completion of reservation.
  • Prices quoted by the hotel system tend to vary as per daily exchange rates.
  • Extra services used by you will be billed upon check-out. Examples are mini bar, phone calls, in-room dining, on demand videos and other room services
  • If the hotel has to be paid locally, please note that prices displayed are EXCLUSIVE of taxes. Exact taxes will be levied only by the hotels. They get charged locally unless it has already been charged to your card.
  • Hotel rates given by us are applicable as per double occupancy. Any charges for extra persons (including children) would be applicable and need to be paid directly to the hotel.
  • All guests need to be at least 18 to 21 years old at the time of check-in (as per individual hotel policy) unless they are being accompanied by a guardian or a parent.
  • We will not issue refunds for unused nights, which include those due to late check-in or early check-out. Cancellation or changes to hotel reservations through Great Travel Fares are liable for 100% penalty and/or administration fees. Contact customer service for any cancellations or changes.
  • Any changes made to a booking would be subject to administration fees.

n) Departure times of cruise lines- Cruise lines, which are part of our allied services, need to stick to timelines as per their departure schedules from ports. You are recommended to keep sufficient time in hand to report to your cruise, to account for possible flight delays.

o) Flights arranged by cruise lines- In a situation where you have decided to buy flight tickets from your cruise line, please note that they will not be confirming your airlines, timings, dates and routes two to three weeks before departure.

p) Information on local holidays and customs- It will help you to be aware about local holiday closures, customs and traditions in your place of visit, as these may impact your travel plans.

q) How to request customer claims- In the event of claims, you need to inform Great Travel Fares through an email at info@greatravelfares.com, or mail us at the address mentioned below. This should be done within a period of 30 days from the event deemed claimable. If you do not file a written complaint within the 30 days, it will automatically be assumed that you were satisfied with our services. Unless you submit a notice as per the above guidelines, you will not be able to carry out a legal proceeding.
